The problem
Most travel information has no source and no date.
Opening times, ticket prices and closed days change quietly. The pages that list them rarely say where the information came from, or when anyone last checked.
Out of date
Timings, fees and weekly closures change. Old pages don’t. Too often, you find out at the gate.
Confident, not correct
Chatbots and top-ten lists sound equally sure either way. Without a source and a date, you can’t tell a fresh fact from a guess.
How it works
Four rules for keeping facts honest
We are building these into GhoomoAI from the start — before any planner or app.

Source · date · confidence
Every fact carries where it came from — an official notice, a field visit, a web publication — the date it was last confirmed, and a confidence level: High, Medium or Low. If we can’t cite it, we don’t say it.

Checked on the ground by Yatra Mitras
Yatra Mitras will be local people — students, drivers, guides — who visit places and photograph what is actually posted there. Each visit is location-checked, photos carry a one-time code written by hand, and a person on our team reviews every submission before it counts.

When sources disagree, we say so
If an official page says one thing and a recent visit says another, we don’t quietly pick one. You see both claims, each with its source and date, marked “Sources disagree”.

Expired facts get re-checked, not recycled
Every kind of fact has a shelf life — opening hours go stale much faster than a fort’s founding year. Once a fact passes its date, its value is no longer shown — only when it was last confirmed, and from which source — and someone is sent to check again.
Where AI fits
AI can help put a plan into words and explain it. It never supplies a fact. Every checkable detail in a plan — a time, a fee, a closed day — is filled in from the verified record, not written by a model.
When sources disagree, no AI smooths it over: you see the claims exactly as they are.
